Evaluation of the policies of George W. Bush and his Republican conservatives on America.
Even Though Profits and Preductivity is UP!

The Economic Policy Institute released its annual data on the economy of the United States on Saturday. An affiliated group the Keystone Research Center released data on Pennsylvania yesterday. The conclusions of both studies—The Rich are getting Richer and the Poor are getting Poorer.

Nationwide only the top 10% of wage earners had an after inflation and tax increase in their wages and in Pennsylvania only the top 5% had an increase. The normal outcome of increased productivity is an increase in wages. That has not happened under Bush. There is a “broken link between productivity and wages” according to Stephen Herzenberg of the Keystone Research Center.

The data clearly documents that after inflation the only economic group that experience an increase in REAL income were those at the VERY TOP. In fact the top 1 % nationally saw their after inflation and tax income increase by 27% from 2003 and 2004. The increased continued from 2004 to 2005.

The evidence is clear, the economic policy we are following benefit those at the VERY TOP and the top management and stock holders. For 90% of workers they are worse off then they were under the Bush economic recovery!
The U.S. Census Bureau reported similar findings earlier!

Claiming that conservatives don't cite massaged stats/shallow analysis/biased media and only liberals do is as idiotic as some of the other things stated here....cut all the my elephant beats your donkey crap and get back to basics.

Also making ANY kind of economic argument by using simplistic relations between data and commerce (especially in making a political argument) shows an overestimation of one's own intelligence.

Just be thankful wages aren't down 90% for all Americans. The truth is that anyone who just earns a wage (i.e working class scum) shouldn't be allowed to vote.
Voting rights should be reserved for owners of capital only. If you're not of good property owning stock then you are by definition worthless.
Do you seriously suggest that worthless working class scum should have any rights? Run along you scummy little wally and quit moaning while you're ahead.

You'll get what your given and be thankful for it.

Well I guess by your definition I can vote. In fact since my income is in 6 figures and net worth in 7 figures I can also write a book about how wrong the policies we are following are for this country.

Not One Cent of what I have is because of Bush. I have not been harmed to date but I know that what he has done to this country will harm us in the future and adversely impact my children and grandchildren.

The denial that people on this web site express is amassing. Our country is not trusted by other countries and I can not recall a time when we had a President that was more hated then today. Every time Bush goes to ANY country crowds protest his actions. The attitude by people like demiler is, “so what”? We need the cooperation more then ever to deal with the terrorism that is growing in this world. Our actions do just the opposite of what is needed to develop cooperation. Bush acts like a pompous ass and struts around. That "Bring it on” attitude.

I have listed the major issues that face our country both domestically and on the international scene and asked you Bush supporters to DOCUMENT how Bush and the GOP has been able to deal with these issues. To date NOT ONE of you has provided ANY data that shows Bush and his policies that have been supported by the GOP has been able to address ANY of the issues that plague our country! All I get are attacks against me and BS statements. I am not the issue. The issue is Bush and the GOP and their TOTAL failure to solve anything. The list grows and includes:

Trade Deficit
Budget Deficit
Port Security
Immigration
Energy
Education
Environment
Iraq
The danger from radical Moslem groups
Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid Funding
Rebuilding OUR Infrastructure
Healthcare
Growing spread between the Haves and the HAVE NOTS.
Abuse of our Military - We have given them too many tasks for their size and do nothing to increase their size.

Do you realize that you just blew your entire argument with this sentence? Not 1 cent? LOL, that's BS and you know it. You have not been hardmed? Then what the fuck are you complaining about? You act as if you lost everything you own due to Bush. And don't give me this crap that you actually care about the rest of us cause that's just more BS.

Just ask col what the democrats will do to change things, and he will be quiet. He is in such denial that he is a liberal.

He just constantly cuts and pastes the same things over and over. We have already showed his "list" to be false and he can't show how Bush is responsible for most of the things he blames him for.

Pathetic.

I strongly suspect that our ways of measuring how well we are doing economically are somewhat dated & inaccurate. There's no other explanation for the disconnect between the trends claimed in those reports and the tangible experiences of most people. It's as if there is a variable in the equation that is being ignored, intentionally or otherwise. These kinds of numbers, divorced from any relationship to the expense side of the ledger, just don't add up.

My current gross income in actual unadjusted dollars is virtually the same as it was 25 years ago. Adjusted for inflation, it's only about 60% (optimistically) of what I made in 1981. Yet somehow I'm far more secure financially now and that same amount of money seems to go farther than ever before. I believe that reduced real income is able to provide more for me now than then because of the radical, but virtually taken for granted, changes in the infrastructure of our everyday existence that have evolved over that 25 years. Today's dollar does so much more than 1981's - how else to explain it? When the poorest of the poor have DishNetwork and 2 cars, how bad can it really be?

So Gene's only telling half the story, the half that fits his prejudice, which is why it doesn't resonate with most of us when we look around ourselves & perform the reality check on his claims. And believe you me, I'm not in that 5% club, so it's not because I'm just breathing the rarified air and can't see below the clouds.

Your problem is that you are obsesed. But you also discovered that it makes money to talk bad about Bush, basically the one reason you make books at all. Of course in the end it's all about the money, and to think that you claim not 1 cent has anything to do with Bush when you wrote a book about him which you sold a few. Talk about lying. You're the real liar here, you can't even follow your own line of thinking without contradicting yourself. I can imagine a conversation between you and your reflection in a mirror, talk about having mixed feelings.

You wouldn't know the truth if God came down and told you it was the truth. Half of the stuff you post is either opinion analysis and that is not fact or truth. You base your position on those who agree with your point of view and completely ignore opposing views from minute 1. If you actually gave the opposing opinions a chance, then maybe you might not have such a hard time getting your point accross, but anything that smell like something good for Bush or opposite of your ideals you don't even give it a chance, a glimps or even the benefit of the doubt. Your mentality is that Bush just can't get anything right, that there just can't be a single thing he can do good, that there is no way Bush is not guilty, responsible or even involved in. You branded Bush a criminal, a joke, a monster, a con artist, a dictator and nothing said or done can change that.

The only way you can post the truth is if you have 100% legit proof of anything you post. You can't do it, not even the Dems can do it. So make it your point to say that you post what YOU believe is the truth.
