Evaluation of the policies of George W. Bush and his Republican conservatives on America.
What a Hypocrite.
Published on December 3, 2006 By COL Gene In Politics

It is remarkable—When the New York Times or some other newspaper releases classified information it is a security problem. Now it turns out that Bush used the New York Times to leak classified information from his National Security Advisor and that is just fine. What a hypocrite!

Rips off your birds and stuffs them down your terrorist loving pencil neck ::::”

WHEN HELL FREEZES OVER--You are not qualified to carry my brief case. You and people who supported Bush are responsible for the DEATH of our brave troops and that is the most despicable thing I can imagine!

YOU'RE not qualified to breath let alone live! It's people like YOU that got good men killed in Vietnam!

It is correct. Bush sent our brave military into a conflict that was not needed and without the resources needed to do the job. They have done a fine job given the limited resources and the fact that their Commander-in-Chief put them into a war THAT DID NOT MAKE US SAFER. PEOPLE LIKE YOU ENABLED Bush to send our troops to this war and be killed and injured FOR NO REASON.

Bush and the CONGRESS WHO SUPPORTED AND VOTED FOR THE WAR.  It's amazing how you keep repeating the rhetoric from the media no matter how many times you have been proved wrong.  I notice how you keep avoiding the threads that show good things happening.

Col, would you go to Iraq and tell our troops right now to their faces and tell them they are being killed for no reason and should leave immediately?

Congress gave Bush the authority to use force in Iraq. Congress had NOTHING to do with how the war was fought of how many troops were sent. Bush is Totally Responsible for NOT sending the troops levels to deal with securing Iraq AFTER Saddam fell.

The mistake of going to Iraq was a joint mistake. However, weather Congress was given ALL the Intelligence and military assessment as to the danger from Saddam is an open question.

The execution of the war and the mistakes that were made are all Bush-- He is the Commander-in-Chief!

Bush sent the troops that were asked for by the commanders on the ground.

It's not an open question.  Investigations have shown there was no intentional lies, or no intimidation about intelligence.

The execution of the war and the mistakes that were made are all Bush-- He is the Commander-in-Chief!

Bush doesn't control everything no matter how you try to make people think that.  Blame Bush is all that matters in your mind, and your emotions are not facts.

No Bush DID not send the number of troops the commanders on the ground asked for.

The plan Gen Franks started with called for 500,000. Under extreme pressure, Franks said he needed 360,000. Bush sent 130,000. Ambassador Brenan asked Bush for more troops and Bush ignored his request. The Army CoS said we needed 500,000 troops and Bush sent 130,000 and got rid of him.

The truth is that the commanders on the ground saw the hand righting on the wall-- Take what you get or get fired. The result is the failure to EVER establish or maintain order after Saddam was deposed.

"It's not an open question. Investigations have shown there was no intentional lies, or no intimidation about intelligence." UNTRUE!!!

The senate NEVER held the Phase II hearings about who knew what when. It is not lies it is information that was not provided Congress before they voted to allow Bush to use force in Iraq. There has been NO such determination and I hope that is one of the issues that the Democrats settle when they take over Congress!

Oh "really"? Then just what is this? From wikipedia:

Two volumes of the phase II report were released on September 8, 2006: "Postwar Findings about Iraq's WMD Programs and Links to Terrorism and How they Compare with Prewar Assessments" and "The Use by the Intelligence Community of Information Provided by the Iraqi National Congress." The conclusions of these reports were that there was no prewar evidence that Saddam was building weapons of mass destruction and there was no evidence that Saddam had links to al-Qaeda.

." The conclusions of these reports were that there was no prewar evidence that Saddam was building weapons of mass destruction and there was no evidence that Saddam had links to al-Qaeda.

The issue that has not been completed is DID CONGRESS have ALL the Intelligence that was available in 2002 BEFORE Congress voted to authorize force? Did Congress have the Pentagon's military assessment that said Saddam had no military capability beyond the ability to conduct military operations ONLY in central Iraq?

If Congress had the Intelligence that said Saddam did not have a nuclear program in 2002 (We know that Intel was available to Bush). If Congress had the Intelligence that there were SERIOUS questions about his BIO WMD program ( That information was also available to Bush). If Congress had the Pentagon Military Assessment that Saddam had no ability to attack anyone much less the United States (also available to Bush), it is not reasonable to believe Congress would have voted to invade Iraq!

Until we know WHAT Congress KNEW BEFORE they voted, the issue is NOT settled. I did not see that the Phase II report was issued but it appears it did not settle the issue of did Congress have ALL the information before it voted? If Congress had ALL the information Bush had and voted for war, then Congress is just as wrong as Bush. If Congress did not have ALL this information, then Bush is the sole culprit in one of the most serious errors that ANY President has ever made and that has cost the lives and treasure of our country!

This is not straws but the meat and potatoes. We went to war because we were told that the danger from Saddam was so great we were in danger from him. If that was NOT true, the American People need to know that and Bush needs to be held accountable!
