I do not support new spending until we have PAID for what we currently spend!There goes gene again telling people what they can "afford" and what they should use their money for. If you don't want any new spending, I guess you won't be voting for any democrats, is that right gene?Tax cuts have stimulated the economy and we need to cut most, if not all social spending, and other things.

Have you taken a look at the economy lately? Real estate sales and decrease in property values, loss of manufacturing jobs, mortgage defaults, record high energy prices, the stock market, bank and investment company losses and write downs. The only thing we have is the creation of service jobs many of which do not pay a living wage. There is real concern about holiday spending and we could be on the brink of a major recession. To all this add the large deficits. The National Debt increased $500 Billion from Oct 2006 to Oct 2007.

If the Bush tax Cuts stimulate the economy how do you explain what is taking place? Only the Rich have been better off and if the Stock market does not rebound, even they will be unhappy!

Overall, the economy is good.  The problem with you and your democrats is you aren't happy unless more people are poor.

Just wait until those that heat with oil begin receiving the home heating bills!

The Democrats want to cut pork and earmarks. They also want to increase tax revenue by ending the tax cuts to the wealthy and Big Oil! They also want a pay as you go for any NEW spending like the S-Chip bill!

they want to bring about universal health care. spending

they want to give all new borns 1000 for retirement. spending

they want to give all new borns 5000 for education. spending

they want to give everybody a free house. spending.

they want to raise taxes on the oil companies who will then raise prices on gas. this will affect the middle and lower class. the very people that they say they care about.


they want to raise income taxes on the rich. who will have one of two choices. pass that expense onto their costumers or fire people or both. again this hurts the people that they say that they care about.



the last time they raised taxes we ended up in a recession.
