Evaluation of the policies of George W. Bush and his Republican conservatives on America.
Bush and the fed Chairman NOW admit the Truth.
Published on January 18, 2008 By COL Gene In Politics

For months I have been documenting how the U.S. Economy was in trouble. Bush supporters have been telling me that I did not know what I was talking about. The economy was sound as Bush has been saying up to two weeks ago.

I looked back at my Blogs since January 1, 2007 where I pointed out the problems with the U.S. Economy on the following dates:

Feb 2; Aug 9; Aug 16; Aug 19; Aug 29; Oct 16; Dec 21.

The response from most on this Blog site was to tell me I did not know what I was talking about and calling me names. The truth is that all of what I posted was correct and now Bush and the Fed Chairman has finally admitted what I have been pointing out is true.

When I post accurate information that appears to cast a bad light on Bush or the conservative policies I am attacked and most refuse to acknowledge that facts.

Now I am being punished for speaking the truth by the people who operate this Blog Site. They are afraid of the truth. Neither your refusal to accept the facts nor your attempts to punish me for bringing the truth forward will change what is going on in this country as a result of the policies Bush nor the GOP have put into place.

Bush should open an account on JoeUser because he too ignores the facts. Only now that the situation is becoming a very serious and undeniable has he admitted the truth. The Stock market is down over 14%. Housing is in free fall—Sales& Home values. The credit problems are very serious and are impacting the largest financial corporations in the country. Inflation and high oil prices are a major problem. Sales over Christmas were not good. Most retail sales except for the high end stores are not doing well. Companies continue layoffs. Personal Credit is growing and there is a fear that the slow pay of credit card debt will soon be yet another problem.

This is not Gloom and Doom as I have been accused of spreading. It is documented fact that people on this Blog site have not only ignored but told me that I was telling lies about the economy when I pointed out these weaknesses. In addition the actions that Bush is not talking about to help the low and middle income consumer is what I have been talking about for years. Bush however does not want to pay for any help for the low and middle income families with increased taxes on the wealthy. He wants to add it to the debt and add more to what our children will be forced to deal with in the decades ahead. What about his promise to reduce the annual budget deficit? If we give tax rebates of the $150 Billion without paying for it with tax increases on the wealthy as Bush is talking about that will increase the debt as sure as this is Friday January 18, 2008!

Time for the operator of this Blog Site and many who Blog on this site to open their eyes about the truth and stop defending policies that have failed to address the needs of this country.

Good.  One class should not pay for the irresponsibility of another.

You mean failed to create a nanny state where Americans need to rely on the federal government for their every need?  Why don't you just come out and admit you want income redistribution, bread lines, welfare for everyone, etc.?

Actually it is.

So were mine. I've said for my entire adult life that the economy is cyclic. And damn if it ain't.

The two comments to my previous Blogs are a perfect example of how many on JoeUser simply will NOT face the facts and become defensive when I point out the problems that the Bush policies have produced.

From your other article, I would have to say that it is you who does not face the facts that it is the American people who are mostly responsible for the economy. Going about spending money they didn't have, buying houses they could not afford and then expecting the Gov't and those who worked hard to make money to pay for their ignorance and irresponsibility.

I hope Barack or Hilary wins, I will actually vote for who ever is the Democratic candidate for President. I want them to turn this country into a nanny state, I want them to take everything they can for rich people and big corporations. I want then to do everything they say they will do just so I can see the American people later cry, bitch and moan about how screwed up this country is because they thought the Democrats had the solutions to all of the poor peoples problems.

I work hard because I wanna earn every penny I get. I don't want the Govt to maintain me and my family. I will do what it takes to make sure my family has food to eat, a roof over their heads and water to drink. I would like to see every other American claim the same.
