Evaluation of the policies of George W. Bush and his Republican conservatives on America.

Comments about the economy I have made in my Blogs have been criticized now have been proven correct. The issue is the economy and the results of the policies we have been following.

The reality is the policies of Bush and the GOP have disproportionately caused the economic benefits flow to business and the wealthy and NOT the average Americans who are falling behind. This has caused people to put more on their debt both credit card and home equity loans and now they are faced with the fact they can not continue to spend. Mortgage bankers created mortgages that made it appear that millions of Americans could afford homes they COULD NOT AFFORD. Now many of these loans are going bad and are jeopardizing the financial health of the entire country.

The two comments to my previous Blogs are a perfect example of how many on JoeUser simply will NOT face the facts and become defensive when I point out the problems that the Bush policies have produced. I continue to be blocked from responding which proves those who operate JoeUser are of a like mind!

We are not avoiding the issues. We are simply avoiding you. And BTW, maybe for once in your life you might wanna try blaming the true culprits of the problems of this country. The American people. Had the average American not been to stupid to get themselves in these housing dilemmas and had they not been maxing out their credit cards buy things like PS3s, HD TVs, iPhones and cars (not with credit cards obviously) they could not afford, maybe we wouldn't be in these dilemmas. Apart from ignorant, we have proven time and time again to be irresponsible and negligent. But God forbid you actually point the fingers and the true problem causers of this country, especially when you are one of them.

Go ahead and continue to do stupid things and then expect the Gov't to bail you out like a 15 year old being arrested for drinking and doing drugs. If you spent as much time pointing fingers at every politician and American in this country as you do to Bush, maybe you would earn some respect around here.

No, it proves that you lack respect for people, especially those who run this place. You would think a person of your stature and age would know how to be respectful of other peoples opinions, instead you go and insult like a machine gun out of control. I can understand some people here, including me, have gone over the edge with insults, but that was usually after arguing pointless arguments against you and then you would eventually get stupid. Now you simply go off and insult people within the first 5 replies. Grow up already, even the most ignorant people on this site know the limits.

Typical gene.  Blames Bush for Americans not being smart enough to pay their own mortgages.

You should re-read the JU Terms of Use, Gene. Then strongly consider keeping your opinion of the intelligence of the owner this site to yourself. That would be a start.
