Taxpayers have paid $6.5 Trillion dollars in interest on the national debt since 1980 when VooDoo economics took hold of the Republicans. That money bought us NOTHING and just paid for times when we spent more then we taxed. The Bush administration is adding to the national debt to give tax cuts to the top 5% of Americans . Everyone who pays taxes will be stuck paying the interest and some day the principal in added taxes for this policy. Another chilling thought is that about 45% of the interest paid by American Taxpayers in interest goes to people or institutions in other countries. Just like our jobs so does our tax money go out of this country under the Bush policy! This must be stopped. We must balance the budget and begin repaying the $7.5 Trillion national debt!

Just consider what better things we could have done with $6.5 Trillion- Rebuild all our schools plus solved the provblems with Social Security and Medicare for example. Pay the prescription drugs for seniors for the next 100 years.
