Evaluation of the policies of George W. Bush and his Republican conservatives on America.

The Prime Minister on Lebanon told Secretary of State Rice yesterday that the Israeli attacks have destroyed 50 YEARS of work and pleaded for a cease fire. The Bush administration has chosen to allow Israel to continue destroying this country and the new government by driving the people of Lebanon closer to Syria. Reporters have interviewed the people fleeing Lebanon into Syria and they blame Israel NOT Hezbollah. What our policy of not demanding a cease Fire like the UN and most other world leaders want is to put the United States at odds with the people of Lebanon as well as most other world leaders.

We supply Israel with the weapons they are using to destroy two countries because a total of three Israeli Soldiers were captured. Millions of innocent people are being displaced; their home and jobs are being destroyed so Israel can punish Hezbollah. In the end groups like Hezbollah and Hamas will come out of this battle with even more people that support them and HATE Israel and the United States.

Our policy in the Middle-East and in Iraq is doing more to create added enemies for our country and is in no way making us safer. Again Bush stands alone in the world by allowing Israel to wage two wars because three soldiers were taken hostage.

COL Gene, there are so many errors in your logic, it is hard to know where to start.

So true, Larry, so true. And trying to seriously engage him is like a game of Whack-A-Mole - hopelessly futile.

I did not blame Bush for the violence. What I said is that our refusal to call for an immediate cease fire as the rest of the world wants and the fact we agreed to accelerate the delivery of the weapons Israel is using is creating more enemies for the U.S. I also said that the response of Israel to the capture of three Israeli soldiers it totally out of line with what they are doing in Gaza and Lebanon. Bush did not create the fighting but he is supporting Israel and again puts our country outside all the other countries and is adding to the enemies we will have after this is over. It would be good if you READ what I post not what you want me to post!

If Lebanon’s Army becomes directly involved in this fight as their Prime Minister has threatened, we will have Hezbollah and the Lebanese Army fighting Israel. The new democracy Bush claims is so important in Lebanon and the country of Lebanon is being destroyed by Israel and we are standing by and allowing it to happen by not joining the other world leaders to DEMAND both Israel and Hezbollah stop the fighting. If they refuse then military forces need to be sent to the area to FORCE both Israel and Hezbollah to stop the fighting. Bush is refusing to support this step so Israel can continue to punish Hezbollah! In the end Hezbollah will survive and will have even MORE support from the people of the area and we will be LESS secure. Hezbollah was the result of the Israeli attacks on Lebanon in 1982. Our policy as well as that of Israel is making the hatred WORSE and moving us further from a possible solution!

The only way to have ANY chance to prevent what is taking place is to FORCE both Israel and the various Moslem factions that hate Israel from fighting with each other. Both sides have done things that have caused the hatred. The factions MUST be separated and that must be enforced by an outside military that is strong enough to FORCE both Israel and the various Moslem groups that are fighting Israel to STOP the fighting. What is taking place not only holds the potential for a much wider war but plants the seeds for more attacks in the future do to the increased hatred this war is creating! Our refusal to help STOP the fighting is also creating more enemies for this country!

Ok, that would be the US Army. But, that would require us to kill more innocent civilians in order to get this done. Now we are bitched at for killing innocents civilians everytime we shoot something so we put our soldiers at risk by sending them to fight on foot against an enemy that is not afraid to take his own life to kill as many US soldiers as possible. But then this would mean we are putting our boys in unnecesary danger.

This whole explanation that I just gave tackles every point you f_cking bitch about evertime you start one of your Bush bashing articles. In other words you want the US to do exactly what you bitch about that they do. You're a f_cking hypocrit.

And who would do that col. You keep claiming the U.S. is not the enforcer of the U.N., so should we send France?

Our refusal to help STOP the fighting is also creating more enemies for this country!

No it's not. Islamic terrorists will always hate the U.S., and will always want the destruction of Israel. Do you understand there is no cease fire with terrorists? They want the destruction of Israel and nothing else. Why does this simple fact elude you?

But according to you the US is NOT a world police/peace-keeper. How many times have you been against the VERY same thing in Iraq. When the US was enforcing an UN sanctioned no-fly zone. How very pathetic of you.

Where did I say the U S Army? I am talking about NATO or the UN NOT the U. S. If the idiot in the White House did ANYTHING that would solve ANYTHING I would be glad to give him credit. All you people want to do is defend that idiot and attack anyone that points to his failures. That makes you just a stupid as Bush!

Col, you completely ignore everything that shows that you are wrong. And you want to sit here and insult us? How pathetic.

Nothing you have posted proves anything that I said is not correct. EVERY NEWS PROGRAM shows the devastation that has resulted because Israel overreacted to the taking of three soldiers. The interviews of the people in the area show clearly that they blame Israel and the U. S. not Hezbollah. Now other groups threaten to join the battle and the long term impact will be very negative.

EVERY OTHER COUNTRY IN ROME WANTED A CEASE FIRE-- NOT BUSH. He wants to allow Israel to cause more death and destruction. The next thing is that we will be sending our tax dollars to rebuild what Israel destroyed. Let Israel pay for the destruction they created over three soldiers being captured!

Chris Matthews said last night that what is taking place was predicted by the staff at the Departments of State and Defense before Bush invaded Iraq. However, Bush, Cheney and Rummy did listen to them and what Bush has done is allowed the strife between the major factions to create the violence that is increasing every day. We have the new leader of Iraq siding with Hezbollah as he stands before Congress asking for MORE money to rebuild Iraq. NO MORE MONEY FOR IRAQ. Any new U.S. aid should be paid for by Iraq with oil at $20 per barrel!

So you would show the dems and liberals correct then? When they say we went into Iraq just for oil?

We have the new leader of Iraq siding with Hezbollah as he stands before Congress asking for MORE money to rebuild Iraq.

Liar! He has said "nothing" of the sort!

"I asked him directly: 'Do you believe that Hezbollah is a terrorist organization?' " the Senate's No. 2 Democrat, Richard J. Durbin of Illinois, recounted later. "He would not respond to that question."

From the LA Times: Link
Not answering a question is NOT the same as disagreeing with it.

He not only refused to say Hezbollah was a terrorist organization but also blamed Israel for the overreaction and destruction. What I said is not a lie but correct. I said the Iraq leader SIDED with Hezbollah which is just what he did by not acknowledging that Hezbollah is a terrorist organization! You always TWIST what I post to what you want not WHAT I SAID!

Hmmm, let's see:

The factions MUST be separated and that must be enforced by an outside military that is strong enough to FORCE both Israel and the various Moslem groups that are fighting Israel to STOP the fighting.

Last time I checked the strongest force in the world is either the US and/or Britain.

I am talking about NATO or the UN NOT the U. S.

Your joking right? The UN? The ones who pass these almighty resolutions that they never enforce? NATO, who's suppose to solve problems in a peaceful manner? Hello, anybody home? These are terrorist, people who do not care who get's caught in one of their attacks whether it be man, woman or child, who use any means, no matter how terrible it may be, to accomplish their mission, who declare the death of an entire nation as a must. Sure, NATO can easily fix them, oh wait, these people have been around for a long time, what has NATO been doing all this time?

Your a real joke Col.

I'm done with this article. Whens your next goofy article coming out so we can start a new Col bashing thread?

Just like Bush. When you can not answer the facts you attack and bash the person pointing out the facts.
