Evaluation of the policies of George W. Bush and his Republican conservatives on America.
We never finished the job because we invaded Iraq!

Conditions in Afghanistan are turning more dangerous by the day. Taliban forces are strengthening, the central government is unable to control most of the country and the drug problem is at epidemic proportions. In addition, the promised rebuilding of basic services has not developed which has caused the civilian population to become disenchanted with both the U.S. and the central government.

Military force levels are not sufficient to deal with the Taliban and Bush has not been successful in getting more troops from NATO. The U.S. Military levels are such that more American grounds forces are not possible. There is bickering between the leaders of Afghanistan and Pakistan and more then five years after 9/11 the man who planned that attack is still free to plan more such attacks.

Every aspect in Afghanistan is moving in the wrong direction and the Bush Administration has been unable to resolve ANY of the problems. It is yet another example of the inept leadership in Washington from our Commander-in-Chief!

Had Bush set his goal only on Afghanistan then it would have been possible to have defeated the Taliban. However, Bush set off aonm another wild country chase across Iraq and the result, 350,000 Iraqi lives and 2 874 American lives latwef the Shiaa state of Iran has now become a major player in the region.

If you are saying that we are doing well in Afghanistan, it is you that have been eating too many paint chips. Better take another look. We have a major disaster in Iraq and a growing problem in Afghanistan. Bush is 0 for 2.

It is remarkable how Bush continues to beat the drum about how dangerous Iran is and ignores the fact that the government that he enabled to become a reality in Iraq is moving closer to Iran every day. The Majority Shiites is the same group that controls Iran. When this is all done, we will be facing two countries that we can not deal with and Bush will have enabled Iraq to change from an evil dictatorship that opposed Iran to a country where the government is in sympathy with a country Bush dubs the axis of Evil. WHAT A GREAT ACCOMPLISHMENT. That great feat only will have cost our country 3,000 or more American Troops, 25,000 injured and $3/4 to $1 Trillion dollars. Bush will go down as the WORST President our country has ever had in office!
