Evaluation of the policies of George W. Bush and his Republican conservatives on America.

On Meet the Press today they reviewed a VERY reveling national poll. It looked at the top 13 issues faced by Americans. It looked at which party had an advantage in the eyes of the American people. Here are the results:

Global Warming + 39% for Democrats

Health + 36% for democrats

Gas Prices + 35% for Democrats

Reducing Taxes + 25% for Democrats

Education + 22% for Democrats

Controlling Spending + 16% for Democrats

Iraq + 15% for Democrats

Immigration + 10% for Democrats

Ethics in Government + 10% for Democrats

War on Terror TIE

Promoting Strong Military + 28% for Republicans

Homeland Security + 12% for Republicans

Strong Moral Values + 5% for Republicans

If I were a Republican up for reelection in 2008, I would be looking for another day job!

More of your BS about polls. They are accurate predictors of the larger population and given the large differences I would be worried if I were running for reelection. Come back in November 2008 after the election you FOOL!

As usual you respond with an insult instead of presenting facts. Where is the link to this poll? How many democrats were oversampled as what usually happens in these polls? Just more anti-republican nonsense from the person who claims to be a republican.....

Let's Talk after the November 2008 elections and see what NEW SPIN you can come up with! I am confident of their outcome!

Hmm, according to Yahoo! news, Congress has a lower approval rating than Bush:

Remind me, Col, I've forgotten...which party is in control of both houses of Congress?

I think Americans are saying they're sick of BOTH parties, oh esteemed Col of tent setup!

YOU are Correct. What is taking place is the Democrats are attempting to pass the changes that people wanted in November 2006 when the gave control of Congress to the Democrats. The reality is that so long as Bush can Veto bills and the GOP can prevent a vote in the Senate, the changes people want and expected Congress to deliver are being prevented by Bush and the GOP NOT the Democrats. There are a series of Bills that support things the public want and that Bush has threatened to Veto. If Bush does veto things like correcting some of the abuses in the farm Bill that the GOP allowed. The bill to cover another 3 million poor children with health care, the defense bill that includes a change in the Iraq War Policy and the GOP does not override his VETO; the GOP members up for reelection had better look for another job after January 2009.

lets not talk about how the democrats in the house cheated to get a vote to go their way.

Let’s not talk about how the democrats in the house cheated to get a vote to go their way.

The Democrats did nothing the GOP has not done. It also does alter the fact that the changes people want are not getting through Congress because of Bush and the GOP in Congress!
