Evaluation of the policies of George W. Bush and his Republican conservatives on America.

Two of the most important domestic initiatives of the Bush Presidency are the Economy and Education. We continue to hear how great a job the Bush policies have done in these two areas. This week we have definitive data on the results of the past 6 years on how well the economy has impacted most Americans and how well the Public Education system is performing (No Child Left Behind).

First the Census Bureau has just released the data on the Economy and health Care in America. Here are the results from the past 6 years:

Average Annual wage after Inflation is down for both men and women workers.

Median Family Income after Inflation is below the level at the start of 2000.

Number of people without health coverage jumped from 44.8 Million in 2005 to 47 Million in 2006.

One out of every nine children has no health care and Bush threatens to VETO a bill to add health coverage to another 3.3 Million Children.

SAT scores in Math and Reading are down for the 8th year in a row.

NO MORE BS about how the Bush Policies have impacted the Economy, Health Care and Education. The results are in and Bush gets an “F”. The sources are The Educational Testing Service for the SAT scores and for the economic and health care results we have the U.S. Census Bureau!

I do care that Illegal’s are costing the American tax Payers money. However, that has nothing to do with the increase in the number of uncovered people because the illegals were part of the 44.8 Million reported in 2005 just like they are part of the 47 million in 2006.

So what you are saying is that between 2005 and 2006 there were no illegal entering the country and being counted in the Census? And you call me an idiot? And I would also like to know how is it that you sound so sure of these replies of yours? Can you prove this statement, and I don't mean someones opinions, I want numbers, I want concrete proof that illegals are not partly responsible for this increase and I also want you to prove to me that this increase in people with no insurance is not due to people not getting insurance by their own free will. If you can prove these 2 things you got me. Otherwise, STFU.

If what you say is true then why do you want to spend American tax payers money spent giving them health insurance?

However, that has nothing to do with the increase in the number of uncovered people because the illegals were part of the 44.8 Million reported in 2005 just like they are part of the 47 million in 2006.

if that you say is true then the new numbers are 50 million illegals and 47 million don't have health insurance.

Where are you getting your numbers from? It can't be the latest census because the latest census was conducted 2000 and 2001. The next census will be conducted 2010-2011. SO all the numbers you are using are projections not actual numbers or facts.

Since you only answered one part of the question, how about the rest?  The plan that you are taking DNC talking points from includes money for illegal immigrants, people that are not children, and people who make more than enough to afford their own insurance.

The point is that ONLY the wealthy have benefited from the economic policies of the past 6 years!

Stop blaming the government for peoples failure and poor planning.  You have such a hatred for anyone who makes something of themselves instead of leeching off the system and doing nothing to better themselves except blaming Bush, and blaming the government for not supporting them enough.

“So what you are saying is that between 2005 and 2006 there were no illegal entering the country and being counted in the Census?”

What I am saying is that the increase of 2.2 Million people without health insurance from 2005 and 2006 is not mainly from added illegals. It is from companies cutting out health care and new jobs that do not provide health care. Is that simple enough for you to understand?

no the point is that you haven't benefited from the economic policies of the past 6 years.

everyone on here except dreginal have explained to you how much better they are now than 6 years ago.

dreginal is paying 1 million in taxes every year. i don't know if that is personal taxes only or not. it doesn't matter.

i am not doing better because i really don't care.

The Government policies are responsible. Trade policies that reward companies from sending better paying jobs to other countries. Tax breaks to big business that flow to the wealthy that receive the increases dividends. The huge tax cuts to people that have more money then they can ever need. Ignoring the plight of the low and middle income working families.

who are you to tell someone that they don't need that much money.

they hire maids, gardeners, chauffeurs, cooks, pool maintenance.

if they didn't have all that EXTRA money where would all of these people work.

Can you prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that all 2.2 million of these people lost insurance from companies cutting it as you just claimed above? Keep in mind that I came back to the US in June of 2006 and started my job as a temp and they did not offer insurance so I did not lose any insurance. I also got insurance about 2 months agor and so did my kids and my wife so the way I see it that is 4 less people this people which would mean an increase for 2007, that is not failing to me.

It's always an excuse, it's always the responsiblity of the government.  That is when a republican is in charge.  Typpical liberal excuses.

The KEY word is NEED!

It is NOT an excuse but a statement of fact!

I did not say ALL. What I said is that increase of 2.2 Million was not from the added illegal’s that came into our country in one year!
on Aug 29, 2007
The truth about the need for a tax cut was properly addressed by Gates and Buffet when they wrote to Bush in 2001 and said the wealthy do not need a tax cut. Our country has far more important needs for that money! There two Billionaires understood and anyone that argues that people in the top 10% NEEDED the Bush Tax Cuts have no concept of the word "NEED".
