Evaluation of the policies of George W. Bush and his Republican conservatives on America.
The GOP Will Loose if Obama Wins!

Some conservatives appear to be glad Obama appears to be setting the Sun on Hillary. They may find the old saying of; “Be careful what you wish for” will apply.
They may find defeating Obama a bit more difficult then defeating Hillary.

One liberal or another, it really doesn't make a difference. Hillary or Obama won't make it in a general election.

According to real clear politics, as of right now the only Republican who can beat Obama, Hillary, or even the pathetic John 'two America' Edwards, is Arizona Sen. John McCain. This short article is quite accurate, Obama is a phenomenon. Even in Germany, they are hailing Obama as the second coming of JFK. This is all really quite extraordinary.

Do not bet on that. Obama has the ability to bring out the youth, the white vote (look at Iowa) and the black vote. He is viewed as the most likely to produce the CHANGE the majority of the voters seem to want. He is the BEST speaker of ALL the candidates and was against the Iraq war from the outset . If he wins a few more states like Iowa he may be an avalanche that neither the other Democratic candidates not any of the Republicans can stop. Link him with someone like Biden to round out the foreign policy experience and the GOP may best spend their time planning for 2012.

The way he can energize the voters. He has the ability to speak and energize people in a way that dwarfs the other candidates.
Define "Change" would you?
Get out of Iraq. Focus the fight in Afghanistan and Pakistan Change the image we have of ourselves and the way others look at the U.S. He will move to solve Social Security by lifting the income cap. He will move to provide health care for more Americans. He will move us forward to develop more U.S. Controlled Energy. He will cut taxes for the middle class and increase taxes on the wealthy. His policies will be more directed to benefit the Middle Class. None of the above are what most Conservatives want to see but they are the CHANGES that most Americans want!
The error of the GOP is that they do not admit MOST Americans are NOT Conservatives!!!!!!!!! We do not want a Conservative White House or Congress. We do not want a conservative Court!

'What's extraordinary about Barack Hussein Obama?'
Well, for one thing, he seems to be putting an end to Hillary Clinton, thats something I would never have thought possible... not in a million years.

LOL. Being "viewed" as something and actually being able to to do it are two different things.

What a load of BS. Does this mean you will stop obsessing over Bush and obsess over Obama now?

Every election is always about change. So in this sense, this is nothing new. What the electorate has to decide is change in which direction. There is good change and bad change. About the only one who is talking real change of our out of control US government seems to be Dr. Ron Paul, a philosophical libertarian. His beliefs promise nothing short of a revolution. He has strict allegience to the Constitution and personal freedom. In the last debate, Mitt Romney also acknowledged several times that Washington is a mess that needs fixing.
Get out of Iraq.
Everyone on both sides wants our military out of Iraq. But
when
that should be done is the more proper question, isn't it? All the Democrat candidates have the same posture on getting the military out... on a designated public timetable...Hillary for example says she'd order it within 60 days of taking office. In reality, wouldn't that embolden, abet and strengthen the confidence of our brutal jihadist enemies who worship violence?
Change the image we have of ourselves and the way others look at the U.S.
Change the image we have of ourselves? What's that mean...put people in office who will pass policies or maintain those that rid America of God moreso than we already have? Is that the new vision of AMerica's mind and heart?
America is the only nation whose Constitution the early founders were willing to die for. The purpose of our government is to protect the rights and integrity of our citizens and all the other countries whether they admit it or not, covet what we have. All that will be put at risk if socialists who like France's form of government better than the American apparatus prevail.

Ha, this is true. But don't call for the funeral flowers
so soon...there is still a way to go and Hillary's machine is still well oiled.

I disagree. America is headed into very serious times. Deep inside, the electorate knows this. The purpose of a presidental campaign is to find out how well the candidate will govern especially in serious times...
The Dems operate on feelings...and we have seen that feelings CHANGE. Hillary came close to tears today the pressure and disappointment (of losing) is getting so great. Too much heat...and Barack Hussein Obama is simply not up to the job of defeating the irrational force of enemy terrorists or protecting our unalienable right of life, especially of life of the unborn. Obama won't protect the baby in the womb, the most defenseless of us all. If he hasn't the courage to protect our genuine freedoms given by the US Constitution, then he won't be able to do the job and protect any of us when serious times come round.

Because I point out how Bush has screwed up does not mean I am obsessed. The changes I listed I support and I believe the majority support. We will not get the changes needed with any of the leading GOP candidates-- Just more warmed over Bush policies that we do not need!!!!!

Given the past 7 years we know the GOP can not deal with the issues that face this country.

The only people who are being protected are the wealthy and those that run the businesses in this country. The average person is getting no ware. Look at the energy costs and the housing industry. Look at the millions of manufacturing jobs that have gone to other countries.
I can not wait to see what the majority of people on this web site have to say after the November 2008 election. The spin will be something to watch!!!
