Bush cut funds for New Orleans Flood Control

Today the Washington Post reported Bush Froze the Army Corps of Engineers funding to improve the levees holding back Lake Pontcartrain. Bush has under cut the funding since Sept 2001. Budget cuts last summer stopped work on the New Orleans east bank for the first time in 37 years.

Every day more failures come to the surface about GWB!

First I am not a liberal. I do believe as an Amereican we should be helping our people first. If you Bushies believe Bush is helping the average American, you live in a cave. We could have built the best protection for New Orleans for a fraction of what we spent fighting in Iraq. The priorities of GWB are DEAD WRONG for America. I saw a bumber sticker tonight " on January 20, 2009 we end an error" HOW TRUE. Problem is we will be suffering from Bush for many years after 2009!

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers said Thursday that a lack of funding for hurricane-protection projects around New Orleans did not contribute to the disastrous flooding that followed Hurricane Katrina.

Col you are so clueless it isn't even funny anymore. The average American is better off with Bush than some tax everybody liberal like yourself.

Not So. EVERY poll shows Bush has the support of about 1/3 of the American people on almost every major issue! You just happen to be in that 1/3!

How many times do I have to tell you media polls are not reliable col. Do you actually believe that accurate results come from polling 1000 Americans to tell me what millions think. If the polls were reversed col you wouldn't be quoting them so much. Just like the polls that you ignore when someone posts them here.
