Evaluation of the policies of George W. Bush and his Republican conservatives on America.
Published on April 18, 2006 By COL Gene In Politics

If you listen to Bush rant and rave today about He is the only voice that counts. He is the Boss. He hears the critics but that does not count it sounds more and more like what Bush was quoted as saying after the 2000 election in The Price of Loyalty. That quote was, "we must heal whatever wounds may exist" Bush went on to say, "At times there would be disagreement and that is OK. If this were a dictatorship it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I am the dictator"

A-Men King George!

I think we should fall back on something else Bush has said time and time again, "We should judge by results". Sounds good to me!

I do not hate Bush just his policies and what they are doing to our country. If you believe he is helping the majority of Americans you are in fantasy land.

I believe it is Bush that will not deal with the new Palestine government that was democratically elected. How do you answer that? Today Bush gives a BIG welcome to the head of a communist country that has no respect for human or property rights.

So you are saying that no matter how evil a government is, as long as they are duly elected we have to have diplomatic ties with them? Hardly. They chose terrorists as their government, and we have the right to decide if we want to give them cash that they will use to buy bomb vests.

I also disagree with Bush's tolerance of China, but I think any of us can safely say that if he had snubbed China you'd be here griping him out about it. You pose the question about Hamas, but I can just imagine how many blogs you would have squeezed out of Bush SUPPORTING the Hamas government.

I point this because Bush claims all we need is to be safe from terrorism is to facilitate the people to select their own government - The Bush spreading democracy. I guess that depends on what the people select as their government.

Democratic governments can be changed. Totalitarian governments can only be changed by force. Hamas is there today, but that can change next election. If you can't see the benefit of that... well, I'm sure you can you just would prefer to make everything regarding Bush as negative as possible.

The Palestinian people will regret picking Hamas, and then they'll perhaps give it a bit more thought next time. Or, they'll pick the same, and there'll be no moral problem with Israel going to war with them as a people, since the whiney "average Palestinian doesn't support terrorism" thing will be no more.

Keep banging away, though. I prefer you ranting about Bush than doing anything that might actually have a bearing on future politics.

George Bush will go down in the history books as a man with great vision and resolve, A much better President that most the others.

He will be ranked with FDR, Honest abe, and thomas jefferson.

I wish he could get another 4 years as President.

DREAM ON. History will show that the Bush Nightmare will extend far beyond his 8 years in office and the negative results of his policies on the United States and the World will last for decades to come. KEEP THIS POST and we can see who was correct!

It's hard for him to see outside the cross hairs Baker. I think he has been looking this way so long he sees nothing outside the scope.

Col,

So you showed me one post that was not 'bush bashing' there are two sad pieces to this. The fact you had to go back OVER a year the second as Baker pointed out is you give no respect. These are your fruits.

Let me also say this Col,

I do believe you are capable of good. I don't think of you as a horrible person. I am just wondering if we (the JU community) will see a respectful, lighter side of you. I think you'll find that if you post some lighter subjects and show some respect (rather than rants) perceptions of you will change. But that choice is up to you. JMO.

Ever heard your mom tell you not to cross your eyes or you will stay looking like that forever?

He does have the potencial for it, just not the resolve for anything other than bashing Bush.

LOL, now this is funny. Sure the title and the article itself does not blame Bush directly, but lets examine this more closely. The Title of his blog section? Bush Truth. When was it made? During Bush's administration. And what does Col have to say in his replies on this article?

Because Bush insisted on the Alaska drilling in his energy bill, nothing got done including the electric grid issue. We should move ahead with those elements of the energy needs and allow the drilling issue to stand alone. Bush looks at this as giving in and is why we have NO ENERGY POLICY during his first term!

Funny, he claims this is not a Bush bashing article. Yes, but it was intended to be and his replies show it.

You are the biggest bullsh_tter alive Col.

The Blog contained a comprehensive set of actions to make the U S more energy independent. You did NOT dispute ANY of the suggestions I made. You turn to my response to others postings rather then deal with the issue at hand. What about the suggestions I made and what do you have to offer.
