Evaluation of the policies of George W. Bush and his Republican conservatives on America.

Bush claims we can not control our illegal immigration without his guest worker program. The problem with that argument is that we currently have EIGHT guest worker programs.

These are the guest programs that are currently available:

H Visa 372,000 workers
E Visa 49,000
I Visa 15,500
L Visa 134,000
O Visa 12,600
P Visa 38,700
R Visa 12,000
NAFTA 5,600

WHY is Bush telling us we need yet another Guest Worker Program in order to control Immigration? The man lies through his teeth. Does he not know of all the existing plans? He needs to talk with the Dept. of State who supervises these eight guest worker programs which are being used to displace American Workers with lower paying foreign workers. The majority of these guest workers are employed by Indian companies.

The CBO has said the Bush plan will only stop an net of 13% of the illegal’s coming into the country and in 20 years we will have another 9 Million Illegal’s added to the 12 Plus million that currently exist.

The Heritage Foundation has estimated the 20 year cost to Social Security and Medicare at $2.6 Trillion Dollars.

Way to look out for American Workers Mr. President. I wonder which country Bush believes he is president of?

If we punished the employers they would stop hiring these illegal workers and they would stop coming into the country if they could not find work!

Do you know how many illegal aliens are now working for city, state and federal governents? What punishment should we dole out against the police chief if it turns out some cops are illegal aliens? What punishment should we give the military if a troop turns out to be illegal?

But the big question is, if the government can't even seem to decide which of their employees are legal and which aren't, how is Joe Landscape supposed to?

“Those people stuck in New Orleans during Katrina were stuck there because the major wouldn't use the buses available to get them out of there. Further the major turned down Amtrak's offer get its trains down there and pull them out of there.”

If you believe the 600 Busses could have moved all those people you are mentally challenged. Do the math 600 X 65 + 39,000. There were a lot more then that. The issue is the response of Bush AFTER the storm hit. For a week BUSH did NOTHING!

What Bush could do is STOP more illegal’s from coming into the country. Five years after 9/11 and Bush has not requested the manpower, equipment and fence to STOP illegal’s from crossing the border WHY???????

it was a 1000 buses and they had three days not one trip

and i think you forgot to read the part where Amtrak afford to pull trains down there and get everyone out.

oh i know your going to say that Amtrak would only pull one train down there with one car

THE PERSON AT FAULT FOR ALL OF THOSE PEOPLE BEING LEFT IN NEW ORLEANS WAS THE MAJOR.

THE PERSON AT FAULT FOR NOT PROVIDING SECURITY AT THE STADIUM AND THE MALL WAS THE MAJOR.

the person who was not able to do anything about these people was the president.

the locals IE the Governor and the major evacuate the president advises to evacuate which he did three days before the storm hit.

so the people at fault for those people being left in New Orleans was the major and the governor.

question how many buses could the governor have gotten to New Orleans.

how many buses did the Governor get to New Orleans.

another question what party do the Governor and the major belong to. hint it is the party that says it cares about the people.

and by the way there was a nursing home in New Orleans that was offered city help to get its residents to safety. They refused and were charged with neglect(i think) because two or three of its residents were killed.

and since the major was offered Amtrak help and refused. Shouldn't the major of New Orleans be held to a higher standard than the owners of a nursing home.

I WANT CHARGES OF NEGLECT FILED AGAINST THE MAJOR OF NEW ORLEANS. I WANT HIM IN JAIL FOR NEGLECT.

I WANT CHARGES OF NEGLECT FILED AGAINST THE GOVERNOR AS WELL. I WANT HER IN JAIL FOR NEGLECT.

because even if they didn't get those people out of there for political reasons. they still neglected to do their jobs and get those people out of New Orleans after the president told them to.

bush has to requested the man power to guard the border.

he even sent the national guard down there. which according to you we can't have happen becouse that 2% of the guard sent down there would cripple the national guard.

the stuff is being stopped in congress either by the democrats or the republicans or both.

but bush has asked for the stuff you have mentioned
on Jul 02, 2007
yes i know the total is 22% maybe 25% now but that is out of 350,000 men/women

that is lets call it 100,000 men leaving 250,000 men/women for national disasters here at home.

doesn't look like their crippled to me.

no the issue is that no one who should have done something before the storm did it.

bush did his job he told the major and the Governor to get those people out three days before the storm hit

it the major and the governor had done their job it wouldn't have mattered how long it took to get into New Orleans.

I personally think New Orleans should have remained abandoned

Clinton did NOTHING FOR EIGHT YEARS WHY??????????????

the dictator gene is just looking for another reason to attack bush.

And you're such a sheep you'd applaud Bush if he stood on the steps of the Capitol, disbanded the House and the Senate, and wiped his posterior with the Constitution! In other words, you're still a sheep, just a different breed!

but if he is going to attack bush on this then he should also be attacking the democrats who wrote this bill.

agreed

He's right...I remember VERY vividly the evacuation order three days before. Why did these people not follow orders? Why didn't Nagin mobilize everything that moved to get those people moved? FURTHERMORE, why didn't nursing homes, hospitals, etc, revert to disaster plans that FEDERAL LAW had mandated they write 5 1/2 years earlier to prepare for Y2K (I know; I MANAGED a group home at that time and co-authored a plan for 50 group homes in NE Wisconsin!).

The failure at Katrina was on the part of the local government and the people for being idiots. This isn't something that should be thrown at Bush.
