Evaluation of the policies of George W. Bush and his Republican conservatives on America.

That is an amount that very few people can understand. The CBO provided a number that most of us can relate to when they said the Iraq war cost will be $8,000 for every Man, Women and Child in the U.S. If you have a family of four, the Bush war in Iraq will cost your family $32,000 per the CBO report.

Another example is the cost of the damage so far in the California fires. That has been estimated at ONE Billion Dollars. That means the cost of the Iraq war is like the cost of 2,400 fires. Think of that-The cost of the Iraq war is equal to the damage of 2,400 fires like the one currently burning in California!

This report should so shock the American taxpayer they should rise up and demand Congress END the funding for this war. How can any rational person support the Iraq war?

I'm curious to know what CBO report you read cause the one I read did not mention anything about $2.4 Trillion. Actually the report says it could be between $1.2 and $1.7 Trillion; and that is from 2001 to 2017. Wars are expensive, especially when you have the best of the best, which we do. But I guess you would rather stay home and spend those same Trillions on rebuilding & restoring everything terrorist would do to this country, give money to the family of the dead and continue to ignore Saddam cause you believe he had nothing. Of course this would have never been proved till someone actually went in there and saw it for themselves. But, imagine how stupid our Gov't is that they do not have Col Gene in the Intelligence Agency with all of his powers and knowledge. We would have never reached this point in our lives had Col Gene been the one in charge cause he magically knew everything before Bush or even Clinton.

Is money really that important that everything is now about how much has been lost in millions? Or billions? Gotta wonder if Col is gonna feel sorry for all these rich people who have lost everything and might wanna make some kind of bill to charge more taxes to help these people out or will he just look at them and say "they got money, they can build a new house themselves with the money Bush gave them in tax reliefs".

Bush war spending highest since WW II. Tools

The cost of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan could total $2.4 trillion through the next decade, or nearly $8,000 per man, woman and child in the country, according to a Congressional Budget Office estimate scheduled for release Wednesday.

What's really shocking is your poor ability to read a report correctly or at all and instead take what some media group published about without verifying it yourself all while being able to write and publish 2 books.

Oh yea, here's a link to the report in case you have a hard time finding it since I noticed you didn't link to it, I wonder why?

Thank you for proving my point when I said:

I believe most people do not want to pay $8,000 EACH FOR THE IRAQ WAR WHICH HAS DONE nothing TO LOWER THE DANGER FROM OUR COUNTRY BEING ALLACKED AGAIN.

As to the Bush tax cuts-- most went to the high rollers. Tell the over 400,000 people in the Gulf Area that have not been able to rebuild their homes about the Bush help to people WHO NEED HELP.

The Iraq war will cost more the Vietnam or WWII. That is not even close to being acceptable. Do you believe if the Congress and American people had been told that to invade Iraq will cost out country $2.4 Trillion Dollars the Iraq war Resolution would have been passed? If you say YES you either LIE or have lost your mind!

Oh yea, BTW the key word is "may". That is not a fact that is a possibility. Of course you live for possibilities don't you?

Here you go again passing yourself as the all knowing all seeing, for once get it in your head that you do not speak for every American in this country. People have been paying for this war since day 1 and I have not seen "the majority", as you like to say, marching down to the White House to tell Bush to stop wasting their money. BTW, last I checked many Americans do not pay taxes because they get it all back at the end of the year so they are pay nothing for this war are are probably the ones screaming the most.

Keep telling yourself that Col. Most does not meal only and as you like to point out a lot they are still rich, they can afford a new house right? Funny how you use rich people as ammo when it comes to bashing Bush but have no problem criticizing them when they get tax cuts. Hypocrisy is becoming a lifestyle for you isn't it Col?

The Iraq war will cost more the Vietnam or WWII. That is not even close to being acceptable.

The Iraq War would cost me even if we ended it today because things are more expensive now than they were that many years ago. Back then we did not have laser guided missiles, super powerful machine guns, Stealth Fighters, drone planes and super high tech computers. Duh, it does not have to be acceptable, it's reality Col. At this point any war justified or not would cost more if done in a year. And you claim to be smart at economics?

Do you believe if the Congress and American people had been told that to invade Iraq will cost out country $2.4 Trillion Dollars the Iraq war Resolution would have been passed? If you say YES you either LIE or have lost your mind!

Col, you can be such an idiot. Would people by cars if they knew just how much they would really pay for it after the pay all the interest? Do you think people would buy houses if they knew just how much they would have ended up paying 50 years later in taxes? Do you think people would pay for food they knew was bad for them? To all these questions the answer is yes, because people do this on a daily basis.

You keep having this crazy idea that when ever a decision should be made, we should ask every single American before the decision is made. Why the hell do we have a President, Congress and the Senate for? Oh yea, i forget, you think Bush does this all by himself without Congress and the Senate.

So far we have spent over $600 Billion in Iraq. Bush has requested almost $200 Billion for next year. The VA has said the medical costs of the veterans will runs about $700 Billion. Just those three, and that assumes the Iraq War ENDS by Sept 30, 2008, totals $1.5 Trillion If the war continues beyond next September, we add $150-200 billion per year. The $2.4 Estimate is realistic and it is time for this war to END the way 3/4 of the American People want! You are the IDIOT!

The only idiot is you, I linked to the CBO report which proves you wrong and you still cry like b_tch. The hell with you Col. You're sore loser and won't admit it if God came down and called you a sore loser. See ya. Enjoy your lousy article.

If it is only $1.7 Trillion (THE $2.4 WAS A PROJECTION) are you saying that is OK? Think of what you are defending by again attacking me. Bush has consumed spent at LEAST 1.5 TRILLION ON A WAR THAT WE HAVE NOT WON. A WAR THAT IS NOT MAKING US SAFER. A WAR THAT HAS KIILLED 3,800 AMERICAN TROOPS AND INJURED ANOTHER 28,000. FOR WHAT? We are NO LESS likely of be attacked again from the dead, injured and from the money we have spent. What ever we have spent we have borrowed and in addition to paying the cost of the war we will be paying how many more Billions in interest. Anyone that believes that is what will help America has lost their mind and that includes Bush!

Col Gene, you do yourself a disservice. A real idiot would argue that, since we have spent so much on this war, we have to continue it until we'd finished it completely.
