Scott McClellan Tells ALL!
Published on November 20, 2007 By COL Gene In Politics

Scott McClellan, Former Presidential Press Secretary revealed today that Bush, Cheney, Rove, Libby and Card were part of the Cover up of the leak to the press that Valerie Plame was a covert CIA Agent. McClellan said that Bush lied when he directed him to tell the press that none of the White House staff were involved in the cover up. It was all lies McClellan said.

Let me guess, selling a book....right? Isn't it funny how you liberals called McClellan all kinds of names, but now he's credible because he's selling a book. . Get over it gene, the Plame case is done, it's over, Bush isn't being elected again, move on with your life.

WASHINGTON - Former White House press secretary Scott McClellan blames President Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney for efforts to mislead the public about the role of White House aides in leaking the identity of a CIA operative.

this is what the article begins with

McClellan's flat denials gave way to a steady drumbeat of "no comment." And Bush's original pledge to fire anyone involved in the leak became a promise to fire anyone who "committed a crime."

In a CNN interview earlier this year, McClellan made no suggestion that Bush knew either Libby or Rove was involved in the leak. McClellan said his statements to reporters were what he and the president "believed to be true at the time based on assurances that we were both given."

this is at the end of the article.

i knew it wouldn't be long before you did this

Tee hee. Let's see how Bush and co. squirm out of this one! Bush may not be getting elected again, but I personally would like to see him and most of his administration brought up on criminal charges. Alas it won't happen, but one can hope, no?

That does not mean it is not true! McClellan was one of the Bush inner Circle. It is time to IMPEACH both Bush and Cheney. They were part of a cover up of that exposed our covert CIA agents!

From YOUR Link:

In an excerpt from his forthcoming book, McClellan recounts the 2003 news conference in which he told reporters that aides Karl Rove and I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby were "not involved" in the leak involving operative Valerie Plame.

"There was one problem. It was not true," McClellan writes, according to a brief excerpt released Tuesday. "I had unknowingly passed along false information. And five of the highest-ranking officials in the administration were involved in my doing so: Rove, Libby, the vice president, the president's chief of staff and the president himself."

You thought so, too? Glad I'm not the only one with a dirty mind!

Then why didn't he mention this before?  Why does he have to wait until his book comes out, maybe because nobody would buy it otherwise and this "story" generates media coverage.

The leak case has already been solved, it's over, it's done, get over it.

Sigh. Unfortunately, politically, there is no way in hell either Cheney or Bush will ever be impeached. Whether they should or not is another matter all together, but it won't happen.

However, that does not mean this case will go away. An administration can only spin so long. As the rats (and I really dislike McClellan) leave the ship, there are all kinds of incentives to talk. And they all talk.

That's why history will not judge Bush well. We've discussed this in other places, but it is for the historical record these things need examined. And, why I think Bush is one of the worst Presidents in history.

PS -- before you all think I don't like McClellan because of his snipey little fat face, that's not true. I actually like Tony Snow, and if possible, he is even MORE conservative. My gripes with McClellan are personal. What a rat.

wasn't proven in court that it was the wife that exposed herself by recommending her husband for a job.

TIME TO CHARGE ARMITAGE, ROVE AND LIBBY WITH OUTING PLANE. CHARGE BUSH AND CHENEY FOR OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE IN THE COVER UP!
on Nov 21, 2007
The Republicans spared no effort in impeaching Clinton for lying about having sex with an adult. Bush and Cheney lied about the danger from Saddam and took us to war predicated on those lies and covered up the outing of our covert intelligence agents. It was not only Mrs. Wilson that was put in jeopardy but all the other contacts that she had dealings with when she was an undercover agent. What Bush and Cheney did is a thousand times more harmful then what Clinton did. People on this Blog site make excuses for Bush and Cheney and think it is fine we wasted millions of dollars to deal with a sex scandal! Bush and Clinton both lied - The difference is the Bush/Cheney lies killed people and put others in danger. That was not the result of the Clinton lies!

no it wasn't about sex it was about perjury in court.

the court case was about him raping and sexually harassing women before and after he took office.

meaning that his lie was important to the case.

Writing in big, bold letters doesn't get you anywhere gene.  You can't charge someone without proof, and as i said, this case is already done.  Get over it.

The difference is Clinton was caught and proven with his lies, Bush/Cheney has not.  You have already been put in your place about what a fraud Plame and her husband was, do you want to go through this again?

They will not be impeached, move on with your life.
