Evaluation of the policies of George W. Bush and his Republican conservatives on America.
That is the assessment of Senator Chuck Hagel.
Published on December 1, 2007 By COL Gene In Politics

The comments of Senator Chuck Hagel about the Bush Administration are the most significant to date. Last week it was Scott McClellan but Senator Hagel’s stature in American Politics is far greater. He is considered one of the most competent members of the Senate by both Republicans and Democrats.

I can’t wait to see how the Bush Spin Doctors try and deal with what is a damming assessment of the tenure of George W. Bush as President of the United States? Time will produce a very long stream of evaluations of the 43rd President and they will show his most ardent supporters just how Arrogant, Incompetent and I believe DANGEROUS a President this country has ever had in office. We must insure that such a person is NEVER given the power of the Presidency again.

It will not be long when the only Bush supporter will be his dog. Whispers have started that even Laura may have had it with George and we may hear more of this after January 20, 2009.

Our enhanced defense since 9/11 makes that kind of attack less likely. The reason we have not experienced another 9/11 is not because we have reduced the danger from the Radical Moslems but because we are doing far more to protect ourselves from such attacks! We have increased the number of NUTS that have joined the terrorists by our invasion of Iraq according to the NIE! In that we have made the defense of our country mush harder.

I agree with you Col. Gene. Tell it like it is son!
George Dummy is probably the worst president we have ever had, even worse than Hoover, if that is possible. Reagan really wasn't that great of a President, he certainly didn't end the cold war if you have ever done any serious unbiased research. Reaganomics was a joke. And there was no connection at all between selling opium in afghanistan while training obl for weapons used in nicaragua to help a panamanian general? Or the loss of face of retreating from lebanon 6 months after the marine barracks bombing for fear of the American public wouldn't be able to stomach the loss of soldier's lives. That one act told the terrorists of the world that America couldn't stomach a war and was a rallying flag for them. Never mind that had we not interfered in the Lebanon civil war (consisting of Lebanese Christians vs. Lebanese muslims) by firing on lebanese muslim positions with a navy warship in the mediterranean probably wouldn't have dominoed into the mess we are in now. The mess we are in now in Iraq is definitely Bush's fault for where are the wmd's? Kyoto didn't get signed b/c oil companies have him in their back pocket, Haliburton conveniently got the rebuild contract because cheney is getting his back pocket padded, and the fascist takeover of america by the bush agenda (who is the most secretive administration to date) coupled by the "justice department" telling congress not to interfere in the recent cia tape-gate investigation all point to how horrible george dummy truly is. but the wool has been pulled over the people's eyes, and there will still be some redneck who swears by the grace of god that dummy is the greatest thing that ever happened to us and will attack me for supporting clinton. let me ask you...what is the ratio of wars started and stopped for clinton and bush? clinton stopped the wars in yugoslavia, plus brought peace to Ireland. When was the last time you heard of an ira bombing? i'm sure there are others. Now what about w? iraq, afghanistan (but i support that one). He is going to find a way to start a war with iran because he is the american dictator. He should have been going after obl. He could have done at least SOMETHING to stop darfur. It would have been better to invade the darfur region for the right reason than iraq for the wrong. He is more interested in spending billions on another country than he is spending billions on one of our own cities. Maybe New Orleans will get rebuilt sometime. but there is no oil in the swamp.
Instead of taking responsibility for voting him into office and saying, "I made a mistake by voting him in," they reply with the classic 5th grade response, "oh yeah!?" But i also love the rest of the idiots who reply with shit like, "blah blah blah" or blame Bush's problems on Clinton. Since 1980 there have been what, 20 some odd years with Reagan, Bush Sr., and George Dummy. 8 with Clinton. yet they claim clinton is SOLELY responsible. get a life

i blame this on the democrat controlled congress. they allowed reagon to send in troops as long as they only had one bullet in their gun. meaning that the guards at the barracks only had two bullets to stop that car bomb.

and you cannot stop a car with 2 bullets. even if it was 50 caliber bullet.

see this is what happens when congress tries to control the military.

clinton has used the military in more operations than any other pres. since world war 2.

the british stopped ireland not clinton.

you mean like the mess Bush had to deal with because Bill Clinton was to much of a coward to take the battle to the terrorists, which emboldened them to the point of flying jets into tall buildings in America? that kind of mess?[/quote]

but bush's daddy trained bin laden. or did you forget the correlation between iran/contra, the coke/opium drug trade with panama/columbia/afghanistan, and Charlie Wilson's War? stop complaining and blaming and come up with a real solution to real problems and call your congressman! Here's one: Spend billions to rebuild New Orleans instead of Iraq. Here's another one: Send the military to stop the killing in Sudan (and stop the spread of Islam) instead of being in Iraq causing the spread of terrorism. Here's a third one: stop trying to drill in anwar and cause more pollution and put incentives to create a solar energy industry that's clean. stop this nonsense about ethanol which drives up corn prices which people eat and start some sense concerning the hemp industry. did you know that hemp (which is govt regulated) produces the highest amount of oil from a plant and people don't eat it? (except in brownies ) Stop fighting amongst yourselves and join together as Americans.

I've given 5 solutions. you just keep playing the blame game and never have an original thought of your own.

true

the british stopped ireland not clinton.

actually the biggest factor was one of the things that george dummy did do right. He stopped the financial funding of terrorist organizations. since the ira was on the list their funding dried up. ironically most of the money for the ira was coming from people in the States.

clinton tried to abondan one of our downed pilots in yugo..

now that's bullshit and you know it.

McCain and Hagel both took huge political gambles on Iraq at about the same time... one man currently runs for President, and the other couldnt be elected as a dogcatcher in any Republican district... which one did better? Col. Gene says Hagel.

I wondered where the Col went to. I see he has been demoted to visitor. Some of the nut cases running around JU now make him almost seem reasonable.
