Evaluation of the policies of George W. Bush and his Republican conservatives on America.
Published on April 9, 2005 By COL Gene In Politics
Tens of thousands in Baghdad and Ramadi chant "NO, NO to Satan" , burned American Flags along with cutouts of Bush, Saddam and Blair as American soldiers watch from behind concrete and barbed wire barriers. What a sad demonstration after the death of over 1,500 Americans, 35,000 injuries and $300 Billon dollars. Bush should be proud of the feeling shown by the Iraq people to the war he brought to their country. Where is the reception of thanks we were told would take place after we removed Saddam? Rather then thanks, our president is put on the same level as Saddam who we removed from power and our flag is burned while our military is forced to watch. It is time to leave this rat hole of a country!

We French do not use mass murder, we use free love.

No maybe you don't use mass murder, but your willing to just stand there and watch it happen. Errr. Rwanda.... Look at all the times France has sent troops to Africa in the name of peace, only to let your troops stand there watching the Genocide happen at their feet.

Lets not even look at all the Sex slave rings, rapes and other "free love" instigated by French Peace Keeping troops that is coming to light out of Africa now.

I know the average French soldier would like to help, but your government has refused to authorize any force to prevent it or to persecute those who have instigated these crimes. (even those bad apples in its own military) When a French soldier is put in jail for firing warning shots to prevent hatch wielding thugs from murdering refugees and then only discharge five officers for running a sex slave ring. Something is wrong with your foreign policies and morals. (and the French wonder why our military criticizes them)

The Hawk wrote, "I'm all for war, so long as it's done the right way. I have doubts that 1500 dead Americans is doing th job the right way. I don't blame the President. I blame the U.N. SOBs, the military lawyers, and judges, who bury many good men with their pencil-neck legalities of use of armed force, treatment of protected people and places. I say kill them all, and let the Lord and historians sort out later. Maybe one of them 1500 dead Americans could have written that history had we killed all them SOBs."

Learn how to write, moron!

--Didn't you know Draginol,Oil.

Please cite how much oil the United States has received from Iraq.  Do you even know where the US gets its oil? Do you know how much that oil is worth? It gets old dealign with people who are economically clueless.

Oil is only "black gold" on the Beverly Hillbillies.  In the real world, it's a very low profit, low margin commodity.  For kicks, you should educate yourself a little and find out just how much the world oil market is.  I think you'd be surprised that it's not all that large.  Certainly no where near enough to justify the expense of invasion or rebuilding of Iraq.

I'm against the war in Iraq, without a doubt, but it's too late to quit now. Help them get settled, bring the troops home, and then NO MORE INVASIONS!

Another politically ignorant citizenbot. The UN was saying, according to it's expert inspectors, that Iraq had no WMD and were no threat to the US since they had no WMD. The president was doing his circuit spewing his Iraq is scary lie. The president said Iraq had WMD. That they had drones that can reach the eastern US coast. The UN said they didn't. The UN was right and the President and the US was wrong. And you insult the UN for adhering to international laws? You're sickening. Pencil-neck legalities is a mindless way to describe the desire to break international law. The same laws the US set up and holds other nations to every day. Kill them all. Starting with your mother and father? Or perhaps your little sister and your Grandmother. Who do you think should be killed first?

The president said Iraq had WMD.

Most countries said Iraq had WMD.

And you insult the UN for adhering to international laws?

The U.N. is right in the middle of the biggest scam in history. Top U.N. officials will soon be indicted for helping Saddam.

Could you please list them all for us right now? And make it a country that doesn't have a huge interest and benefits from going along with the US line. And the UN food-for-oil scandal. Why would any reasonable person use that as an excuse for breaking international laws when it comes to military force? Are you justifying insulting the UN for wanting to adhere to international laws regarding the use of force because some UN members were corrupt? One would think, if you're position is serious, that the US reaction would be one of judiciary example, meaning they should respect the laws to provide the good example to other nations. You're saying that the US is free to break international laws regarding the use of military force on non-threatening nations because the UN had a few members who used their position of authority to profit from it? Excuse me, but you'll have to lock up 90% of Congress. I don't mean to be rude, seriously I don't, but you're really stupid. I truly don't mean to be rude, just coming to the conclusion after weighing the content of the arguments presented.

"Kill them all. Starting with your mother and father? Or perhaps your little sister and your Grandmother. Who do you think should be killed first?"

Why would you want to kill Americans? My sister and grandmother are not the ones' planting explosive devices that kill and maim American soldiers, etc. Were any relation of mine so doing, I assure that I would personally shoot them.

Where do you draw the line? In W.W. II, Mr. Roosevelt ordered the killings of many women and children in the Dresden incendiary fire. Gee, I wonder why he did such a thing. What do you think could've motivated President Roosevelt to support knowingly- even eagerly- the wholesale slaughter of 80,000 old men, women, and children in Hamburg? To win the war, to bring home as many live Americans as possible. I would gladly see a village of 1500 dead Sunni women and children if that meant the 1500 American dead could live.

This blog was NOT about WMD but about how the people of Iraq looked at the War. We were told that America would be considered liberators. Nothing is further from the truth!

The tens of thousands that protested do not seem like we are welcome. There are some that accept us but I doubt that MOST would like us to GO HOME! Bush told us this would be a quick and clean war. In fact that is what he told Pope John Paul II when the Pope objected to the U S invading Iraq. We were told it would cost 60-80 Billion and much of the cost would be paid from the oil revenue from Iraq. Almost nothing we were told by Bush and his supporters about this war is true.

--Can you honestly tell me that a war can be fought/cost EXACTLY the way its is originally thought...world war 2 and ww1 cost more than originally thought...and i believe the 10,000 protesting are those who live in the Sunni area, which has nearly always been anti america [forgive me if i got the wrong group, couldn't remember if it was shiite or sunni] also, the iraqi oil industry is growing...slowly,yes, but it is growing...it will take a while.
