Evaluation of the policies of George W. Bush and his Republican conservatives on America.

The Bush spin doctors have outdone themselves with their claim that seeking ALL the facts that lead to the Iraq War is an attempt to CHANGE HISTORY. Nothing could be further from the truth. Learning ALL the intelligence that was available before we went to war is to COMPLETE the history of how we got into this war not change history.

There is no question George W. Bush intended to invade Iraq from the very beginning of his Administration. At his First cabinet meeting the invasion of Iraq was discussed according to then Secretary of Treasury Paul O’Neill. That was nine months BEFORE 9/11.

So far we have learned that much of the intelligence that Bush used as justification for our invasion was provided by Ahmet Celebi, a convicted felon who wanted the United States to remove Saddam so he could assume a position of power in Iraq. Congress was not made aware that this person, was the source of much of the so called intelligence Bush sighted for reasons to go to war. There are reports of other intelligence that did not support the Bush rational for war that existed PRIOR to passing the war resolution that Congress was not made aware of.

The Phase II Intelligence Committee report must document ALL the intelligence that existed PRIOR to going to war and learning why ALL that intelligence, including the information that DID NOT support the Bush arguments, were not known by Congress before they allowed Bush to invade Iraq. That will be completing the history of the Iraq War NOT rewriting the history of the Iraq War as the Bush spin doctors claim.

Why is it that every time I try to read you, no matter how hard I stare at the words, all I see is Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah?

You seem to just be a serious one trick pony, whether it be in reply (even if you are commenting on cub scouting in south America) or in your articles.

I want the truth as much as you do with one difference. I will be wiling to accept what comes out without twisting it to fit my agenda. Wait! Isn’t that what you accuse Bush of?

I am not twisting anything. I said there are facts that have come to light which dispute what we were told about Iraq. It is time that ALL the information is made public to make sure we have the complete history of this war. That is not changing history but completing history. It is Bush who insists that looking into how we got into this war is changing the past. That simply is not true. I did not say Bush hid this information or if ignored it. If that turns out to be the case, we have a much bigger issue. Reguardless, we need to know all the intelligence that was available before Congress voted on allowing Bush to take us into war!

You do realize that you're not required to read his blog, right. I mean, you do know that right? If not, let me be the first to tell you.....You're not required to read COL Gene's blog.

However, if you do decide to continue on and read it then you should try to at least treat his blog with the same respect you would want your's to be treated.

Only seems fair. But then again, JoeUser and fair.............

gene, maybe you should move to a country more to your liking, try china. or vietnam you would fit right in there.

I love my country. It is the policies of Bush that are doing nothing but harm to the vast majority of Americans that I do not like. Given all the polls, and I do mean ALL, about 2/3 of Americans agree with me. It might be good to suggest Bush and the conservatives move to another country where he could be the dictator.

Right, because if they don't actively approve of everything he's doing overall, it means that the people of america agree with every condemnation you have. Uh-huh, pull the other one, it's got bells on.

I always thought that twisting the truth was the point of JU.

It's ironic that the Republicans are using friendly fire now--after all, the Democrats were wrong, too!!

You got it wrong. I am not saying that 2/3 agree with me but that I agree with the 2/3. That puts a lot of JoeUsers in the 1/3 that still support Bush and are not part of the majority of Americans..

NOW you're talking semantics. There is "really" no difference between the 2 sides in your reply. The numbers stay the same and so does the sentiment.

Interesting..., since this is a quote from #5 reply:

Given all the polls, and I do mean ALL, about 2/3 of Americans agree with me.

You can't get it right no matter what you do. Sounds like twisting to me.

I am not required to read anything he puts out. I was just offering commentary that I feel was well deserved by this one trick pony.

Isn't your sentiment sort of oxymoronic? You are telling me to let him speak while telling me to shut up. You didn't use those words, but in ColGene's world you can make anything sound just the way it makes your tinfoil hat wearin head feel best.

Col, you do mean 2/3 of about 1000 Americans polled by a media organization which regularly polls more democratst than Republicans.
