Evaluation of the policies of George W. Bush and his Republican conservatives on America.

President Bush has not addressed a audience of average Americans since the presidential debate in 2004. Every time Bush gives a speech it is before either a pre-screened group or the military. Why is the president afraid to address unscreened audiences?

Last I checked, you anti American loser, the members of the military ARE "Average Americans". Or do you join Murtha in thinking of U.S. troops as "the enemy".

Oh, please. Get a grip, FCOL.

Cheers,

Hardly fair:Murtha tells us many of the "average" Iraqis see us as enemies.

I wonderif the Col knows any average Americans...

COL does have a grip. Bush consistently tries to sell the war to those already for it and unquestioning. He tried privitizing social security to "average" Americans and failed.

I don't remember Clinton addressing a whole lotta "average Americans". Politicians addressing prescreened crowds is pretty much a time honored tradition.

You're slipping, Col. This article has NO meat in it...I'm sure you could do better even if it WAS just with manufactured quotes and innuendo.

I have proven my love of America by SERVING my country not by deferments like Cheney and hiding in the National Guard like Bush. Say what your SMALL minds can handle, the truth is as I have stated. Bush is out of touch with the VAST majority on almost everything and he is afraid to face any group that does not agree with him. He is bad for this country and we will be suffering from his 8 years in office for decades to come. Yes I support Murtha. Bush and Cheney have not earned the right to to say anything aginst him!

Still a lie.

This is the point. When was the last time any president appeared before an audience that wasn't prescreened, or with a background that wasn't preset?

Once again you hide behind defending yourself, instead of your point. Yes, Colon Gangrene, I am So-o-o-o Impressed by you. So impressed that I pity your every waking breath.

So I prove you incorrect once again. Bush is out of touch with a "vast" majority? What would you call our military? A minority? He seems to address them just fine. And they, unlike you back him "almost" to the man. Murtha is a complete idiot!

Parated2k and Drmiler

You two are just like Draft Dogger Dick and AWOL George. Birds of a feather. I am proud to be on the side of Rep Murtha. I do need your acceptence.I know how I served my country and it was not by disobaying orders like Bush or avoiding service like Cheney. NOTHING you asses say change either my service or the failure of Bush and Cheney to serve their country what it was their time. They can send our brave military into a war that is not making us safer . There were no terrorists linked with 9/11 operating in Iraq until George enabled then to begin operating in Iraq. Bush created the War on terrorism in Iraq. And Yes idiot Drmiler, the several million military are not the majority of the almost 300 million Americans. You are so dumb! Also I can assure you not all the military respect Bush. Anyone that did not obey his orders the way Bush didn't should never have received an Honorable discharge- He did not earn it! More pull from Daddy! Without Daddy, George would be in a durg rehab unit about now.

Prescreening is probably, at least in part, a security measure.

Stop throwing invectives around, guys. Yes, it is possible to support Bush and still be sane and intelligent. Yes, it is possible to not support Bush and still be sane and intelligent. What is it about politics that makes us all leave our wits after the tone?

I know it is possible to not support Bush and still be sane and intelligent. I also know that Colon Gene is an empty headed blow hard who couldn't make a decent point if it pit him in the butt.

Colon Gene is also a cowardly pissant who was once probably an excellent officer. His accomplishments are impressive... it's too bad he traded them in for an infantile lust for class warfare and surrender to everything that moves.

He is a credit to the terrorists he roots for.
