IRAQ IS A DISASTER

Time to GET OUT!

Within the past 24 Hours the following events have been reported:

43 Iraqis were found shot execution style.

Iraq people cheer when a British helicopter is shot down in Basra and stone the British troops attempting to reach the crash site.

Four more explosions were reported killing 17 and injuring 44 more.
We are headed for another record level of deaths in May

The atrocities we saw under Saddam are continuing the only difference is which side is inflicting the killing. The elections that were to bring stability took place four months ago and the violence continues without improvement.

It is time to allow the Iraqi people decide what is to become of Iraq. Our continued presence is NOT solving the conflict among the three factions in Iraq. All we are doing is sustaining more deaths, injuries and spending money that would be far better spent on the needs of Americans.

First, I am not a Democrat. Second, if the truth about Iraq would have been known when the Congress voted, there would not have been a war. It is not our responsibility to provide Iraq with the right to vote. Look at what happened. Three elections and they can NOT FORM A GOVERNMENT. The violence is worse then ever and the country is falling into civil war. Great way to have spent our tax dollars. We would have been FAR BETTER to rebuild the damage from Katrina!

17 More dead yesterday and they still can not complete their government!!!!!

That's your opinion col. Hindsight means absolutely nothing. Democrats voted to support the war, that is a fact.

They are forming a government as we speak. Nothing is perfect.

In a show of hands, the 275-member parliament approved each Cabinet minister proposed by incoming Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki. The new ministers then took their oaths of office in the nationally televised session in Baghdad's heavily fortified Green Zone.

That completed a democratic process that began following the overthrow of
Saddam Hussein's regime in the 2003 U.S.-led invasion.

The proof will be if the Violence ENDS. If it does not, the new government means NOTHING!!!

In any event, IT IS TIME FOR US TO LEAVE. They have a military, police force and government. Time to go home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
