Evaluation of the policies of George W. Bush and his Republican conservatives on America.
Time to GET OUT!
Published on May 7, 2006 By COL Gene In Politics

Within the past 24 Hours the following events have been reported:

43 Iraqis were found shot execution style.

Iraq people cheer when a British helicopter is shot down in Basra and stone the British troops attempting to reach the crash site.

Four more explosions were reported killing 17 and injuring 44 more.
We are headed for another record level of deaths in May

The atrocities we saw under Saddam are continuing the only difference is which side is inflicting the killing. The elections that were to bring stability took place four months ago and the violence continues without improvement.

It is time to allow the Iraqi people decide what is to become of Iraq. Our continued presence is NOT solving the conflict among the three factions in Iraq. All we are doing is sustaining more deaths, injuries and spending money that would be far better spent on the needs of Americans.

I NEVER did anything but expressed sorrow for all the death and injuries since this WAR WAS NOT NECESSARY.

BS col. You have never expressed sorrow for any soldier. You are the first one here to make a post about a soldier being killed in combat, and then somehow blaming Bush and Republicans for it, all the while ignoring the democrats. That is why you are a liberal political hack.

It has NOTHING to do with Republican or Democrat. It is spending money we need to be spending on America that is being wasted. Last week a report was released by the Fed that showed 18 of the 20 Billion spent to rebuild Iraq was wasted.

It has everything to do with your posts col. When is the last time you wrote about democrats wasting money? How many billions was "wasted" under a democrat President col? Where is your posts about that? You want to stop waste col, let's get rid of the welfare system to start.

GO TO HELL.

I have a lot more respect for our military then their Commander -in -Chief who sends then to their death for NO GOOD Reason. When it was his turn to risk his life he made DAM Sure Daddy kept him safe in the National Guard. Cheney hid out with 5 deferments.

There has not been an equal to the waste of money like the GOP in the past 5 years!

Col, you have no respect for our military. All you do is use their sacrifices to somehow convince yourself that you are right. You sound just like Dan Rather col, all talk, no proof.

There has not been an equal to the waste of money like the GOP in the past 5 years!

Of course there has col. The welfare program for one. Remember something col. Our economy is doing great even though you choose to ignore it.

So keep living in your world of the liberal media. Keep refusing to look at the other side of the story. You will remain a sad individual.

Do not tell me I have no respect for our military. I spent 30 years service as a member of the military. When a commander in chief lies about the danger to this country in order to invade another country, he has NO RESPECT for the lives of the men and women he sent to their death FOR NO REASON. This is the same person that HID OUT in the Guard when it was his time to serve in the military.

Welfare properly controlled helps people that NEED help. Passing away money in Iraq is the real waste. Bush and the GOP added one of the biggest entitlement programs-- Prescription Drugs and DID NOT PAY FOR IT. What Bush did is tack another 60 Billion per year onto the Medicare Fund that is already in financial trouble.

You not know what you are talking about. In addition there is more PORK in the budget then EVER.

Bush began a new plan to secure the Mexican borders, something you bitched about over and over, where is your claim that Bush is doing something about it now? How come you are not giving Bush props for doing his job, even if it was a bit late, but better late than never?

HEY COL???? Why you avoiding this???
on May 18, 2006
Let’s look at what Bush has done to secure the Border and enforce the laws about illegal aliens.

First, the number of border agents DROPPED in 2004 and the 10,000 added agents Bush said were needed have not been provided. In fact Bush included just 200 added agents in his budget request when he said we needed 10,000 more.

As to enforcement of employers hiring illegal aliens Bush has done NOTHING through 2005!

To say Bush has enforced our laws or protected our border is a joke and everyone knows it. The answer is not 6,000 guard troops. They CAN NOT STOP ANY person and they WILL NOT BE ARMED. It is another political joke from a do nothing President. Bush has dropped to 29% approval and Congress is at 18%. ON EVERY ISSUE, including security, the Democrats and preferred by the majority of Americans. On some issues the spread is 10% more want Democrats and in other issues the spread is 35% in favor of the Democrats. We are headed for another 1994 but this time it will be the Republicans that will feel the wrath of the voters. KEEP DREAMING BOYS!!!!!

I did it!!! I figured it out, Gene is Murtha!! Hes been using Gene as a pen name...

Your whine in a prevoius article that he isn't doing anything and now that he is you criticize him because he is starting to work in that direction?

You have an antangonistic distorted view of gov't. Sad

That's funny right there I don't care who you are. (in the voice of Larry the Cable Guy).
on May 18, 2006
Doing the right thing and just doing anything is the issue. For 5 1/2 years Bush DID NOTHING. Now he sends 6,000 unarmed National Guard troops. What a JOKE!

I agree 100% with Rep. Murtha. There is not one of you that could hold a candle to him.

More like Murtha's puppet or robot if you prefer. Just an outlet.
on May 18, 2006
I am no puppet. If you look at my earlier book, Four More For George W? You will see I predicted the results that are front page news today but I made my predictions in early 2004. I said the Iraq war was a mistake long before Murtha. That just makes us BOTH correct!

Yet another deadly wave of attacks across Iraq. Attacks took place in:

Northwest of Baghdad
Western Anbar province
Ramadi
Fallujah
Southwest of Baghdad
Northeast Baghdad
Basra

We are at a record setting number of American Deaths for the month with 5 killed yesterday.

In Afghanistan it appears the Taliban are reorganizing with attacks yesterday killed 100. Attacks in several areas. We never finished the job in Afghanistan and it appears we may be allowing the same sectarian violence that is taking place in Iraq to expand in Afghanistan.

The source of both stories is the AP. Our policy is a failure that a few still do not accept.
on May 19, 2006
The Col and I have been saying that the war in Iraq is not just a needless war but the perpetrators can be tried for crimes against humanity. Abu Gahraib prison abuses, the use of extreme force against unarmed civillians, the shoot first and ask questuions later attitute of the US marines, (now it appears that US Sen. John Murtha is seeking a probe),the encouragement to death squads, the extraordinary rendition by which people were traffiked all add up to crmes. More than 80,000 civillians have died in Iraq since the infamous "mission accomplished", and the US causalities are also heavy. Just today 8 US soldiers were killed.

I will tell you that again. You disrespect our military every day and cheer for their defeat.

hen a commander in chief lies about the danger to this country in order to invade another country, he has NO RESPECT for the lives of the men and women he sent to their death FOR NO REASON. This is the same person that HID OUT in the Guard when it was his time to serve in the military.

There were no lies col. The only false statements come from your blog.

Also, Bush was honorably discharged. No proof of wrongdoing or "hiding". Is your name Dan Rather?

They CAN NOT STOP ANY person and they WILL NOT BE ARMED.

It's obvious you are losing it. Their job is not mean't to stop people or be armed. Their job is to assist Border Patrol with survellience and technology. Get your facts right.

Welfare properly controlled helps people that NEED help.

Welfare is a useless entitlement program that rewards people for not working and having more kids they can't afford. Only a liberal would think this is useful.

Bush has dropped to 29% approval and Congress is at 18%. ON EVERY ISSUE, including security, the Democrats and preferred by the majority of Americans. On some issues the spread is 10% more want Democrats and in other issues the spread is 35% in favor of the Democrats.

Once again you show you are nothing but a democratic hack. Of course these polls are the same one's that oversample democrats by as much as 15%. If you think democrats will protect our country and keep our economy growing then you are crazy.

Remember col, the "polls" said Bush would lose. Polls have about as much credibility as your blogs and books.

Yet another deadly wave of attacks across Iraq. Attacks took place in:

And a wave of crime and murder happened yesterday in America. Should we pull out there too?

The source of both stories is the AP.

Like the Al-Associated Press is credible. I can't stop laughing.

I notice you still avoid the progress and good news col. Are you just a hypocrit by nature, or just a liberal hack?
