Evaluation of the policies of George W. Bush and his Republican conservatives on America.
Published on March 9, 2007 By COL Gene In Politics

Every time George W. Bush visits a foreign country the people of that country protest and very often riot. We have had similar situations in the past but not to the extent and degree of the violence that greets Bush every time he travels.

The riots in Brazil and the unrest anticipated in Columbia, Mexico and possibly the other stops on the Bush trips are an imbursement to our country. Bush should stay home and use video-conferences to talk with other world leaders. I wonder what Bush 41 thinks when he sees how his son is hated thought the world and when he views the continuing violence in Iraq day after day caused by the policies of his son.

"For the same reason Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Ted Kennedy, and John Kerry gave us. Because he was a threat." None of them proposed to invaid Iraq!

That is the silliest thing I have ever heard of. Do you understand the people that protested were mostly thugs and low-lifes and made up a small percentage of the population? Presidents don't travel to other countries to impress their thugs, they travel to conduct business.

People protested.....WHO CARES!!!! If you believe Bush is liked throught the world you are kidding yourself!

What President was liked throughout the world in recent times col?  What President hasn't been protested?  Why do you care so much about what low-lifes think?

None of them proposed to invaid Iraq!

They voted for it!

Today cooperation thought the world to deal with the radical Islamists is essential. Bush has burned more bridges for America then any President in modern history.

Today on CNN The Comptroller General is again warning about how dangerous the way we are running the fiscal affairs of this country is on our future. This was his earlier statement:

"There is a crisis, and it's George W. Bush's misplaced priorities, fiscal mismanagement, expensive wars, and tax cuts for the rich. Bush will talk tomorrow night about how he's on track to halve the deficit - but its lies, smoke and mirrors."Donald Trump was also on CNN and said GWB was the WORST President in our history!
I guess I am not alone as to my opinion of GWB!!!

So people won't cooperate with stopping terrorism because they have a mindless hateful obsession like you with Bush.  Yeah, thats the people we want on our side.

What is it about Republicans that makes them so candy-assed about "political" firings? This is one of those situations (again, sadly) where they're letting the opposition define the issue when they should be simply told to bug off. Rumsfeld's firing was "political" & didn't seem to upset any of the nitwits that are breathlessly blabbing away about the attorney firings being "politically motivated." The response should have been, "Hell, yes, the firings were politically motivated. Their hiring was politically motivated. Deal with it." This bullshit about "mistakes were made...yada, yada" is so weaselly. If the tables were turned, first of all the media wouldn't give a rip 'cause the Dems are their "boys," and second the Dems would just say "tough titties."

Nothing worse than spineless Republicans. My biggest disappointment with them is the way they cower before the idiot media.

The Comptroller General Comments have no similarity with anything O’Donnell said. He and the GAO are the most knowledgeable agency about the financial operations of our country! There you go attacking the source when they prove Bush is WRONG! All that shows is your ignorance!

Trump was a lot more successful in Business then GWB.

When someone of his level goes around talking the same rhetoric that is outlined in DNC talking points memos, it's pretty obvious where his intentions are.  But as usual it's not point with you.  You have shown you are incapable of seeing the other side of the arguement, so keep obsessing over Bush, maybe you will be successful in him not being elected again.

The GAO HAS nothing to do with the DNC. It may be the comments by Mr. Walker that reflect the fiscal problems in this country are being repeated by the DNC. Mr. Walker is nevertheless correct in that Bush is destroying the financial future of our country!!!!!

You obviously don't read what is posted to you.  I said anyone who uses the phrase "tax cuts for the rich" is using typical DNC talking points such as you do here.  Bush is not "destroying" anything, this is the dramatics that keep people like you from being taken seriously.

I love the double standard here, Mr. Bush-basher! On one hand you quote Mr. Walker saying that the DNC are repeating the fiscal problems....and then you blame it all on GW. Whata marooon!

Think about it for just one second..."If" the DNC are repeating the fiscal mistakes, then it can't be "all" Bush's fault can it? You can't have it both ways. Either the DNC "is" repeating the mistakes and it's "partially" Bush's fault because the DNC is involved OR the DNC is not repeating the mistakes and it's "all" Bush's fault. Now which is it?

The Fiscal problems that Mr. Walker is criticizing are those of GWB. It was GWB that insisted on the Tax Cuts and it is the Spending of GWB that was approved by CONGRESS. The position taken by the DNC is that we can not continue with the deficits which are what both the Controller General and the Fed Chairman have said. However the policies of GWB have produced increasing annual deficits. There is no double standard. The results, as well as the advice of the Fed Chairman and the Comptroller General are critical of the fiscal policy we are following which is the policy of GWB and the GOP controlled Congress. We had a BALANCED Budget when GWB took over. His policies immediately changed that into a continuing and growing deficit. This is Bush Record:

2001 $133 Billion deficit; 2002 $421 Billion deficit; 2003 $555 Billion deficit; 2004 $596 Billion deficit; in 2005 $554 Billion deficit; 2006 $574 Billion deficit and in the first 5 months of 2007 $262 Billion deficit.
