We have wasted $44 Billion in Iraq to rebuild their infrastructure and do nothing to deal with identical problems in America. We spend $12 Billion each month on a lost cause in Iraq. Last month it was the steam line in New York.
Let’s keep burying our heads in the sand!

“The sad thing in that what I have said in this Blog is the truth.”
“no they are lies/some half truths but half truths are lies too”
YOU ARE A LIER!
Any who deny the condition of our infrastructure are IDIOTS that deserve no attention. The Civil Engineers have concluded what I have said is true. 70,000 Bridges, 3,500 dams and the condition of our water systems is D-. Sewer systems are over 100m years old and the electric grids have failed. How people can ignore the most basic facts is astounding. Just keep kidding yourselves. That will NOT change the consequences as these systems fail.
I can see with people like are on this Blog site how we elected the useless idiot that is that occupies the White House. You and those that support him deserve one other. GOD help our country!

BS, COL. I have a book of Grimm's fairy tales I read my children. Your blog is no more true than any one of those!
That is the world in which you live!

i haven't seen anyone deny the condition of our infrastructure. what i have seen is that most people rightfully do not blame this on one man who has only been in office for 6 years. when the problem has been known for at least 17 years. and the man whose boots you lick supposedly stood to help the people. and did nothing about the infrastructure. in fact when he was in office we had rolling black outs in california. he did nothing to help.

Actually ColGene, you are right about the crumbling infrastructure, just howlingly myopic about the cause.

He has failed to meet ANY of the challenges that face this country and is an arrogant ill-informed perm Dona that got to where is his because of the influence of his family and idiots like you.

Col, this has nothing to do with who we do or don't support. You accuse so many people of changing the subject or avoiding topic but you dance around the same bush (pun intended). People can't even have intelligent conversations with you because you behave in a manner that only you can be right. There is little to no bend with you. You say we are sad because we support Bush (implying as if we are lemmings). We might as well be talking to a wall as a result.
And you come across so very mature telling others that they spew dribble and other name calling rhetoric.

Water/Sewer systems, Electrical Grid-- GET THE PICTURE!
"Try" to wrap your mind around this klink. The federal government has NOTHING to do with the upkeep/maintenence of the water/sewer OR the electrical grid. 5 years ago when CA was having such a problem with their grid, who fixed it? The federal government? NO, CALIFORNIA FIXED IT BY ITSELF!!! The ONLY thing the Feds responsible for is "certain" dams. If it was built by the feds then they are responsible for fixing it. "If" it was built by the state...then it's the STATES problem.

IT has to do with wasting taxpayer money that is needed for things like repairing the infrastructure in our country. The waste is the $200 Billion in added interest Bush has added to the spending. If he had kept the budget like it was when he took over from Clinton, we would owe $4 Trillion less and have $200 Billion every year to do things like repair bridges, dame, Electrical Grid etc. In five years the interest Bush added will total a TRILLION dollars and guess what – IT DOES NOTHING FOR OUR NEEDS!!!
Again I call BS! the infrastructure was crumbing for a lot more years than the 7 years GW has been in office. Care to coment further

The comments made about what I post attempt to change the topic whenever they can not answer what is posted.

That is CORRECT.
But because of Bush and his fiscal policy, we have $4 Trillion LESS available to pay for those things. In addition, we must pay an additional $200 Billion in interest EVERY year which takes money away in the future to pay for our needs!!!!! That is what Bush had done wrong!

GET YOUR SMALL MIND ARROUND THIS- When these systems fail and people have no alternatives, guess who will be forced to pay the bills.
The magnitude of the needed repairs is so great that the States alone simply do not have the tax revenue to do the repairs. The repairs are not being done. That will not stop these things from failing.

This quite simply is a disgrace, you should be ashamed of yourself Abel. I am staggerd that any ex officer - even though it was only four years in the regular Army - can lower themselves to the gutter with conduct that is beyond contempt. To then put to shame the excellent people currently serving in the Reserve Forces, just about tops it all.
- "Try" to wrap your mind around this klink
- First of all you flaming A**.
- and is an arrogant ill-informed perm Dona that got to where is his because of the influence of his family and idiots like you.
- YOU ARE A LIER!
- GET YOUR SMALL MIND ARROUND THIS
- All you do is spew meaningless dribble
- I will not waste any more of my time on idiots like you!
And that is just from one page. We all get heated from time to time, but this - its on a different Planet. Its hardly surprising the Publishing Majors wouldnt touch it, and you had to use a Self Publisher - and sure as hell this abysmal conduct will not be doing it any good. You maybe beyond Military Discipline now, but you are not beyond the Contempt of your Peers in the Services - People who still know how to conduct themselves as members of the Human Race, and not live in the Gutter.
Abel, you are a disgrace to the Uniform you once wore.
